DMS Retail's Minimum Order Quantities

Our minimum order is 50 pieces for standard organza and velvet bags, and 100 pieces for jute and eco-friendly bags. These apply per colour per size — so 50 pieces of gold medium organza bags is one minimum order unit.

Why Does a Minimum Order Exist?

This is worth explaining honestly. We're a wholesale supplier — our business model is built around bulk supply at competitive prices. At 50 pieces, we're already at the lower end of what's economically viable for us to pack and ship. Here's what happens behind the scenes on a small order:

• We pick and count 50 bags by hand from our warehouse stock
• Pack them with tissue layer to prevent rubbing
• Box them securely for courier
• Process the order, generate GST invoice, coordinate with courier
• Monitor delivery and update you on tracking

All of this happens whether you order 50 bags or 5,000. The cost of the process doesn't scale down with smaller orders, which is why we set a minimum at 50 pieces.

What If You Need Fewer Than 50 Bags?

This happens. Grandma's 80th birthday has 35 guests. A small office farewell has 25 people. Here are your options:

Option 1: Order 50 Anyway

At ₹14/piece (the 50–99 tier price), 50 bags cost ₹700. The extra 10–15 bags aren't wasted — keep them for your next family function, give them to neighbours for their next event, or use them for prasad at home. Many customers do this.

Option 2: Combine Your Order with Another Upcoming Function

If you know you have another puja, birthday, or event coming in the next 2–3 months, order bags for both together. You reach a higher quantity, get a lower per-piece price, and save on shipping too.

Option 3: WhatsApp Us Anyway

Sometimes, for genuinely small orders (25–40 pieces) for very specific occasions (like a small puja or intimate gathering), we make exceptions. It depends on current stock and our workload. WhatsApp us and explain your situation — we'll tell you honestly whether we can accommodate it.

Can You Mix Different Colours in One Order?

Yes — but the minimum applies per colour per size combination. So you can order 50 gold medium + 50 red medium in the same order (total 100 bags). But you can't order 25 gold + 25 red and call it a 50-bag minimum — each colour must independently meet the 50-piece minimum.
